Apple TV 30 days hire loophole

Posted by Trey on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 1: 11 pm.

It looks like some of Apple's programmers at work, slept for a forum member over at MacRumors a pretty awesome gap on the Apple TV has detected. If you rent a video on iTunes and stream it is basically to the Apple TV, which never triggered so you have a full 30 days to the film or in your spare time, as often as you want "24/48 hours countdown"(As long as the video on iTunes itself does not start.)

-Mieten a show/movie on your Mac's iTunes-if you start to watch the rent on Apple TV, no warnings appear indicating that I must - stop the movie 24/48 hours the iTunes rental counter nor 29 + days remaining touch should display: If you try the movie through iTunes, it will kick-off the 24/48 hours countdown

This time code will likely be quickly fixed, either with an update to iTunes or the Apple TV... but you don't need to update, you do now?
